Staff at Camp Mountain Chai live in Cabin's with 8-10 campers and 2-3 additional staff members. The
cabins are spacious and clean with indoor bathrooms and showers in each cabin.
Days are spent either with your individual cabin or at your specialty area depending on your job description.
But Meals, and evenings and other general camp time's are spent together with the campers and all staff
whether they are a General or Activities Counselor.
Camp is located high up in the forest and about 30 minutes from the closest town. Therefore, in your
free time we have places just for staff available at camp so that you can get away. You will have internet,
phone and cable television access. And in the evenings after the campers go to bed, if you are off we will
have staff activities available for you if you so choose.
Anyone who has worked at camp can tell you what an incredible experience you will have. You will make
friends and influence children in a way that can only be done at camp. It is important for you
to know that this is more than just a full time job. Days can be long and exhausting as we start at
7:45 in the morning and Staff curfew isn't till 1 am. However, we will include in your daily schedule
1-2 hours off for you to recharge yourself. This is your time, to rest check e-mails make phone
calls and most importantly get some rest as you will need it. Though you will work harder then you
have ever worked before you will be rewarded in ways that can not be explained in writing.
